Payroll

ConsenSys has partnered with TriNet to obtain preferred pricing on payroll services for our portfolio companies through TriNet. If you choose not to use TriNet, please refer to the information below:

The price for payroll services for small business typically ranges from a $20 to $50 monthly base rate, plus an additional per-employee fee. Some services also guarantee that you won’t face any payroll tax fines or penalties. Other considerations to take into account are ease of use, customer service, and any industry-specific features / services you may require - depending on the nature of your firm. Other service providers include:

  • Gusto: Free demo of Gusto for one month, and afterwards it’s a flat rate of $39, plus $6 per employee per month.

  • ADP: One of the oldest and best-known names in payroll. ADP’s small business packages (designed for 1 to 49 employees), provides payroll and tax filing software, time and attendance tracking, benefits planning, insurance services, and more. Pricing quote can be obtained from ADP.

  • Paychex: Their small business product - Paychex Flex - is for co.’s with 1-49 employees and is a cloud-based, mobile-friendly service that comes with a high-quality support team, available 24/7.
